Find your grinder
We match you to a real, bench-tested grinder from the catalog — no generic filler.
What comes out of the grinder most days?
How much do you enjoy the ritual?
Be honest — it narrows things fast.
Inside the bench
No sponsored rankings, no spec-sheet copy-paste. Four measurements decide where a grinder lands.
We photograph and sieve each grind, measuring the spread of fines to boulders. Tighter distribution means cleaner, more even extraction.
We weigh in and weigh out, dose after dose, to see how many grams the grinder holds hostage between shots. Low retention = less waste and stale grounds.
Ten timed doses, measured to a tenth of a gram, tell us whether the number on the dial is the number in the cup — shot after shot.
We strip each grinder down: burr quality, adjustment feel, parts availability and how easily you can clean and repair it years from now.
